Celebrate the Season at the 2nd Annual Yuma County Fall Fest!

Get ready for a weekend filled with fun festivities, and fall spirit at the 2nd Annual Yuma County Fall Fest! Join us at the Yuma County Fairgrounds for an unforgettable event that brings together the best of the season with a wide array of activities for the whole family.  The best part about all the family activities is that they are ALL included with your entrance ticket fee, that’s right!  There is no additional cost to participate and enjoy the daily activities and performances! 

Event Details: October 17^th – 20^th, 2024

Thursday – October 17^th – Gates open at 3PM

• Demolition Derby @ 7PM
• Come early to get a seat, it will be packed!

Friday – October 18^th – Gates open at 12NOON

• Fun with Foam: Make It & Take It – 1:00pm – 4:00pm outside the 4-H Building – brought to you by Yuma County 4-H Club.

• Hinder Performance @ 8:00PM Main Stage

Saturday – October 19^th – Gates open at 12NOON

• Paint & Take Classes – 2:00PM & 5:00PM: Fine Arts Building – first come, first serve, up to 30 people per class – facilitated by Mountain Shadows Artists Association.

Sunday – October 20^th – Gates open at 12NOON

• Pumpkin Carving & Seed Bomb Event – 1:00pm – 4:00pm, while supplies lasts - outside the 4-H Building - brought to you by Yuma County 4-H Club.
• Paint & Take Class – 2:00PM – Fine Arts Building - first come, first serve, up to 30 participants – facilitated by Mountain Shadows Artists Association.
• Children 12 and UNDER are encouraged to dress up in costume(Sunday ONLY). Contest details will be posted here at a later time. 

Admission:

• General Admission (13 and up): $7.00
• Youth (6 – 12): $5.00
• Children (5 and under): FREE

Featured Events:

• Demolition Derby: Feel the adrenaline rush as drivers battle it out in a high-octane clash of metal and might. Who will be the last car standing?
• Strolling Acts: Be entertained as talented performers roam the fairgrounds, bringing surprises and smiles at every turn.
• Main Stage Entertainment: Enjoy live music, performances, and shows that will keep you dancing and entertained throughout the day.
• Food Vendors: Satisfy your cravings with a delicious selection of food from fair and local vendors, offering everything from classic fair treats to gourmet delights.
• Carnival: Thrill-seekers of all ages will love the rides, games, and attractions at our lively carnival. There’s something for everyone!
• Commercial Vendors: Shop unique goods and find great deals from a variety of commercial vendors, offering everything from handmade crafts to the latest products.
• Maze: Get lost in the fun of our seasonal maze—perfect for a little friendly competition or just enjoying a peaceful stroll. 
• Paint and Take Event: Unleash your creativity at our Paint and Take event, where you can follow an artist as you create a fall-themed painting to take home as a festival souvenir. (This is a limited-space activity while supply lasts)
• Pumpkin Carving & Seed Bomb: Show off your carving skills or learn some new ones at our pumpkin carving station. It's the perfect way to get into the fall spirit!  (This is a limited space activity, while supply lasts).  Seed Bombs is an interesting and fun way to engage people in restoring vegetation.
• Children's Costume Contest: Let your little ones dress up in their spookiest, silliest, or most creative costumes and compete for fun prizes in our Children's Costume Contest! It’s a great way to kick off the Halloween season.
